Tuesday 12th April – Bauma 2016, Munich Germany, saw the European Launch of Hitachi-Sumitomo’s all new 350t Capacity Crawler Crane the SCX3500A-3  to Weldex International. The ceremony was attended by Weldex CEO- Dougie McGilvray, Senior Staff from Hitachi-Sumitomo in Japan, European staff from HCME in the Netherlands and our very own Group Chairman Joseph Gallagher, along with NRC Plant Ltd’s. Managing Director Steve Harvey. Staff from all four companies used ceremonial hammers to break open a barrel of Sake and share with the waiting Audience.

The SCX3500A-3 is part of an 8 unit deal completed between NRC Plant and Weldex International Offshore for the purchase of 2 x SCX3500A-3 350t Units and 6 x SCX800A-3 80t Units, due for delivery throughout 2016.
